Terms of Service

TrulyRank crawls a website you control and reports what that website currently communicates about the business, its services and the places it serves. It also reports whether AI assistants cite the site for questions you choose to monitor.

The report describes what was found. It is not a guarantee of search ranking, AI citation, traffic, leads or revenue, and no such outcome is promised. Recommendations are suggestions to consider, not professional advice.

You must have the right to analyse any website you enter. Do not enter a website you neither own nor have permission to audit.

Each plan covers a number of websites per billing period. A site counts against that number once it has been scanned in the period. Removing a site does not free its slot until the period renews.

Every plan includes 12 scans per website per billing period. These reset when the period renews and do not carry over.

AI citation monitoring runs on a schedule and is not counted against your scans.

Accounts are for one customer. Sharing login details so that several businesses use one plan is not permitted.

New accounts start with a 3-day free trial of the plan they choose. One free trial is available per customer.

A valid card is required to start the trial. Your card is authorised for $0.00 when the trial starts, and nothing is charged during the trial.

When the 3 days end, your card is charged the monthly price of the plan you chose, and your subscription continues month to month. To avoid being charged, cancel before the trial ends.

The trial includes the website checkup for the websites your plan covers. AI Citation Monitor, exported client reports and the Missing Pages plan are not included in the trial, and open when your first payment is made.

Subscriptions are month to month. There are no annual plans, no contracts and no long-term commitment.

After any free trial, your card is charged on the same day each month until you cancel. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any tax that may apply.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your card details. A receipt and invoice are emailed to you for every payment.

If a payment fails, access pauses until the payment succeeds. Your data is kept during this time.

You can move to a different plan at any time from your account.

Upgrading takes effect immediately. You are charged the difference for the rest of the current billing period, and the new price applies from the next bill.

Downgrading takes effect immediately, and the lower price applies from the next bill. No credit or refund is given for the rest of the current period.

All plans are month to month and can be cancelled at any time from your account. Cancelling stops the next charge.

Access continues to the end of the billing period, or free trial, that has already started. Nothing is pro-rated or refunded for the unused part of a period.

You can restart a cancelled plan before its period ends and keep your settings and history.

All payments are final. Subscription fees are not refundable, in whole or in part, including for periods or features you did not use.

This is because of what TrulyRank provides. The value of the service is the information, analysis and strategy it produces about your website: what it communicates, what is holding it back, and what to do about it. That information is made available to you as soon as it is produced and cannot be returned once you have seen it.

The free trial exists so you can see the service working on your own website before you pay. By continuing past the trial, or subscribing without one, you agree that fees are non-refundable.

This does not limit rights you have under law that cannot be waived by agreement. Where such rights apply, they apply.

If the service fails to work as described, contact us. Faults are fixed, and where a fault prevented you from using the service we will discuss the right outcome with you.

The plan limits are the fair use policy. Automated access outside the application, reselling scans as your own product, or attempting to bypass the limits may result in the account being suspended.

We store your account details, the websites you scan, and the results of those scans, so that history and comparisons work.

Page content retrieved during a scan is analysed to produce your report. Parts of it are sent to third-party AI providers for that purpose.

You can delete a website and its scan history from your account at any time. Ask us to close your account and we will delete it.

We use Google Analytics to understand how the service is used. It receives a random account code and the pages you visit, never your name, email address or card details. Analytics cookies are set for this purpose.

We do not sell your data.

The service is provided as it is. We work to keep it available and accurate, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular finding is complete.

Third-party sources, including search engines and AI assistants, change without notice and may become unavailable. Results depending on them may change or be missing.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid in the three months before the claim.

We may change these terms. If a change is material you will be told before it applies to you, and continuing to use the service after that is acceptance. If you do not accept a change, cancel before your next renewal.
